It is the intention of the Harris County Emergency Services District No. 60 (the "District") and ("Owner") and Sheldon Community Fire & Rescue (the "Fire Department") to select via a Request for Proposal format (one-step process) a Construction Manager-At-Risk for construction of ESD #60/Sheldon Community Fire & Rescue Fire Station No. 5. Location: Generation Park Complex West Lake Houston Parkway Harris County, TX 77044 New 16,000 square foot fire station. The station shall be composed of a concrete slab on grade with concrete masonry/brick and insulated metal wall panel veneer exterior with concrete masonry and metal stud/gypsum board interior partitions, conventional steel frame superstructure, hurricane resistant door/window/wall systems, and flat built-up roofing as well as sloping standing seam metal roof systems. Interior finishes include carpet/ceramic tile/resilient flooring, painted walls, and gypsum/acoustical ceilings. This facility will have an abundance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, security and technology systems. Site elements include a natural gas generator, fuel storage tank, full security fencing/gates, outdoor patio, concrete vehicular drives/parking, and aluminum canopies The construction schedule is expected to be May 2025 - May 2026.
