Storm Debris Monitoring Services. PURPOSE The purpose of this solicitation is to establish a contract for the purchase of storm debris monitoring services from a qualified contractor, on an as-needed basis, for the City of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The City will require the contractor to respond before, during, and after a storm event and provide storm debris monitoring services and support. TERM OF CONTRACT: FIVE (5) YEARS The contract shall commence upon the date of the duly executed Agreement and shall remain in effect until such time as all work acquired in conjunction with this Invitation to Bid and the relevant purchase order, has been completed and accepted by the City. OPTIONS TO RENEW The initial contract term resulting from this solicitation shall last for five (5) years from the agreement's initial effective date. Prior to, or upon completion, of that initial term, the City shall have the option to renew this contract for an additional five (5) years. While it is the intent to use this contract during the annual hurricane season, the City, at its sole discretion, may require the contractor to perform monitoring services described in this solicitation at any time during the contract term. In addition, the City reserves the right to utilize its own staff to perform the monitoring work, under the supervision, guidance, and oversight of the contractor. The City of Palm Beach Gardens reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, with or without cause, to waive any irregularities and/or technicalities, and to award the contract on such terms and conditions it deems will best serve the interests of the City. It is the responsibility of the contractor to ensure all relevant information is included in its bid submittal. All contractors are advised to carefully examine the requirements of this Invitation to Bid. Any questions regarding the completeness or substance of the requirements shall be submitted in writing via the e-procurement platform.
