Landscaping/Tree Planting Services. Empire State Landscaping - Spring 2023 White Plains Landscaping - Fall 2023 Contract term: Fall 2024 Season Location: Trees are located at the Taxter Road Mulch Site, Taxter Road, P.O. Irvngton, N.Y. The Town of Greenburgh seeks the services of a licensed professional landscape installation company for purposes of: Meeting with Department of Community Development and Conservation staff in the field, to review staff identified locations for tree planting within the center median of Tarrytown Road (NYS Route 119), adjacent to 65 Tarrytown Road, P.O. White Plains, NY - Fall 2024. Meeting with Department of Community Development and Conservation and Department of Public Works staff in the field, to review staff identified locations for tree planting at the following additional locations: Birchwood Lane Water Tank; Knollwood Road Water Tank; Greenburgh Library; and DPW Highway Yard - Fall 2024. Coordinating all required Code 753 "Call Before You Dig" protocols. Coordinating with the Greenburgh Police Department (if deemed necessary) for roadway lane closures. Proper planting and staking (if required) of a total of 40 trees (2" caliper size B&B) within: (1) the center median of Tarrytown Road (NYS Route 119), adjacent to 65 Tarrytown Road, P.O. White Plains; and (2) the additional locations identified in #2 above, pursuant to the "Tree Owner's Manual for the Northeastern and Midwestern United States", printed by the USDA Forest Service, dated November 2008, or the most current version or its successor. Placement of mulch around each of the 40 trees to be planted (mulch to be provided by the Town). Please provide a cost for each task and total lump sum fee, as well as a schedule of timing regarding the above referenced deliverables. Please also provide appropriate Certificates of Insurance as outlined within the attached Street Opening Permit Requirements document. The Town of Greenburgh seeks to authorize this work in fall 2024 (mid-October). Please note that a Highway Work Permit may be required through the NYSDOT and, if deemed a requirement, the Town of Greenburgh will function as the permittee, with the selected contractor providing all appropriate certificates of insurance as per NYSDOT requirements. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
