Scope of Work This project is for repairs to the existing main dock at the main campus of the Division of Marine Fisheries located in Morehead City, NC. The scope of work includes the replacement of 28 pilings that have received significant damage from pervious storms and hurricanes and 64 linear ft. of decking boards to be replaced on the 2 lower-level piers. The new dock will be constructed of hog slath decking. All lower bracing needs to be replaced along with 2 5 pile cluster dolphins on the main dock that have been deteriorated from the salt water and previous storms and hurricanes over 25 years and needs to be replaced. Replace 91 wave attenuators along with 23 whalers. In the interest of cost-savings to the designers, consistency of the submittals and more efficient use of time by the pre-selection committee, the submitted information package should not include any notebooks, binders, tab, clips, etc. The format should be 8-1/2" x 11" pages stapled in the upper left-hand corner. The Letter of Interest should not exceed ten (10) single-sided pages or five (5) double-sided pages plus the SF 254. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
