Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Richmond, Virginia. Design plans call for site work for a transportation facility; for paving for a transportation facility; and water / sewer project.
As of December 31, 2024, an engineer has been awarded and identified. Professional Engineering Services required under this contract include providing construction support and construction management services for the Taxiways C & E Intersection Relocation project. The scope of the project includes the following components: Construction of a new stub Taxiways A2 and A3 east of the existing Concourses A & B apron between Taxiways A and U, consisting of new concrete taxiway pavement and asphalt shoulders Modification of the existing storm drainage system impacted by the project Installation of taxiway centerline lighting, taxiway edge lighting, and airfield signage Demolition of existing asphalt and concrete pavement as required by the new pavement geometry Demolition of existing taxiway centerline lighting, taxiway edge lighting, and airfield signage as required by the new geometry Services required will include but are not limited to construction support, construction management, materials testing, quality assurance testing, surveying, and construction inspection.
