The City of Menlo Park (City) is seeking quotes from qualified Contractors with a Class A, C36 or C42 license to purchase and install twenty-two (22) Connector Pipe Screens, or other appropriate storm drain trash capture devices (i.e. catch basin insert), in storm drain inlets throughout the City. The City has identified 22 proposed small-scale full trash capture devices to be installed (hereinafter referred to as "catch basin inserts"). The Citys existing catch basin inserts are United Stormwater, Inc. Connector Pipe Trash Screens and maintenance staff are already familiar with them (Appendix A). The City prefers installing Connector Pipe Trash Screens at the 22 proposed locations, but will consider alternate State-approved certified devices.
