Renovation of a water / sewer project in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
A description of the work to be performed generally includes installing steel bracing and insulation to the walls of the existing distributor shed structure. After adding additional bracing, two new insulated roll up doors will be installed to either side to maintain an above freezing temperature inside the shed at all times. Electric heaters and hvac equipment will also be installed to maintain the temperature during the winter months. Site work includes adding a new concrete landing to either side for the insulated door to land on and for vehicle access, and all incidental work required to complete the project as specified in the drawings and specifications. All engineering questions shall be directed to Riley Miller with RESPEC at (720) 317-4581 or riley.miller@respec.com by October 14, 2024 at 2:00 pm. The final addendum will be issued on October 15, 2024. A Bid Bond of 5 % of the Bid will be required. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and to waive irregularities or informalities in any bid. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to accept that Bid or combination of Bids, if any, which, in its sole and absolute judgment will under all circumstances best serve the OWNER's interest.
