The work under this contract consists of the first Phase for full depth replacement of damaged concrete joint sections and joint resealing throughout the Pammel Creek Flood Canal between US Highway 33 and Rivercrest Drive N. The work under this contract will also include the replacement of weep hole flap gates with the specified Jet Filter one-way flow devices, the cleaning and removal of debris/sediment from the work locations, and the dewatering and bypass pumping necessary to reconstruct damage concrete. Pammel Creek Repairs - Phase 1 The above public work will be let to the lowest responsible bidder and shall be performed in accordance with the plans and specifications for the same now on file with the Engineering Department for the inspection of bidders and in accordance with the prepared form of contract and bond also on file with said Engineering Department No bid shall be awarded unless accompanied by Certificate of Organization and Authority, Disclosure of Ownership, together with a list of Subcontractors: and no bid shall be received without certified check for not less than 5%, nor more than 10% of the total amount bid or a bid bond for not less than 5% nor more than 10% of the total amount bid. Bidder's Proof of Responsibility paperwork must be on file witfi the City of La Crosse. If not upto-date, new paperwork shall be submitted electronically to the Director of Finance, via email at: apvendors@cityoflacrosse. org . The subject line shall be "Bidder's Proof." New submittals are due no later than 4:00 p.m. on the Thursday one week prior to bid . showing sufficient financial ability, equipment, and experience to properly perform the contract. The BPW decision regarding qualification is final. Bids will be accepted only from such qualified bidders. The Notice to Contractors, the Information to Bidders, the Bid Proposal, the Certificate of Organization and Authority, Disclosure of Ownership, Bid Bond and list of Subcontractors, the Performance-Payment Bond, the General Conditions, Specifications, Plans, Addenda (if any), and all ordinances of the City applicable to this contract shall be considered a part of the contract. The time for commencement of the work shall be no sooner than ten (10) days after Common Council shall have awarded the contract and shall be completed by 28th of March, 2025 .
