The Fort Worth Independent School District ("District") is requesting a Statement of Qualifications ("SOQ") from qualified sources relative to the provision of the following Request for Qualifications ("RFQ"). Question deadline: 9/30/24 at 1:00 PM The McLean consolidation project was approved by the Fort Worth ISD School District during the August 2024 Board of Education Meeting. The scope in general will include, but not limited to, renovations to areas on the 1st floor and 2nd floor of the existing McLean MS building and new addition to accommodate a target capacity of 1200 students. New addition will include visual and performing arts spaces, media center, cafeteria & kitchen, gym & locker rooms, administration areas, science labs, and on-site queuing and additional parking. Cafeteria and Kitchen insufficiently sized for 1,200 students. Media Center is insufficiently sized per FWISD Education Specs and does not provide ADA accessibility. Competition Gym does not provide regulation size court and cannot fit required seat count. Insufficient Science Lab / Classroom sizes. Performing Arts Spaces are insufficiently sized and portables are being used for band practice. Second Gym is isolated from Main Building. Administration insufficiently sized and not located near Main Entry / Secure Vestibule. CTE Classrooms are insufficient in number.
