The intent of this Agreement is to provide Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Demand Maintenance services (DM) for Regional overhead doors, receiving/loading dock areas inclusive of: loading dock equipment, dock levellers, retractable awnings, dock doors, weather protection systems, vehicle restraints, stop and go light systems, motorized gates and a motorized partition wall a) Services shall include, but not be limited to: o Initial Contract start up o Inspections o Preventative Maintenance o Demand Maintenance b) This Tender is issued by the Region of Halton on behalf of the following organizations utilizing these services: o Energy, Fleet and Facilities (EFF) facilities including various Regional departments o Regional Headquarters, Administration and shared Facilities o Long Term Care (LTC) homes o Operations Centres o Halton Region Paramedic Services (PS) o Public Works (PW) Halton Community Housing Corporation (HCHC) locations, including family, single, and seniors' residential properties of varying sizes and building types including: o High-rise apartments Halton Regional Police Services (HRPS) including: o Headquarters o Stations c) Each organization shall issue a separate purchase order under this Agreement, with the service requirements overseen by Energy, Fleet and Facilities, Halton Community Housing Corporation, Halton Region Paramedic Services, or Halton Regional Police Services. d) The Contractor shall supply the following: o Qualified overhead door technicians and competent staff for all equipment o Materials, parts and components. o All associated equipment and tools. o Transportation o Services necessary to complete the work at the rates provided in the Schedule of Prices throughout the term of the Agreement. e) The Contractor must have a dedicated team that is capable of providing installation, maintenance and repair services to/for all the sites and equipment listed in Appendix A, equipment and site list throughout the term of the Agreement. f) Work shall be performed during the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday.
