2024/09/30 04:00:00 PM EDT Grand River Hospital is interested in establishing a contractual agreement for grounds maintenance and snow removal services for all Grand River Hospital properties. A listing of properties can be found in the RFP and the successful vendor will be responsible to maintain these properties in accordance with the outlined scope of work/service agreement as part of this RFP. Power Sweep all grass areas and hand rake as appropriate.
Power edge sidewalks and curbs. General litter/debris pick up will occur at all GRH properties. This will include all cigarette butts. Inspect turf grass and plant material for insects and disease. Cultivate, edge and weed flower beds and tree rings on all GRH properties including all exterior rooftop gardens Successful vendor will supply, install and maintain mulch for all flower beds and tree rings at all GRH properties. Mulch must be maintained throughout the year to a minimum 2" depth Prune plant material as required at all GRH properties. Remove and blow debris from all driveway, walks, walkways and entrances. Sweep and power wash all ice melting residual (ie.salt, stones, etc.) away from building entrances, walkways and lawns. Control vegetation in cracks and curb lines / interlocking stone. Clean window wells at all GRH properties. Repair all damaged lawn areas caused from winter maintenance as a result of equipment used by the successful vendor. A meeting will take place with GRH personnel to determine appropriate strategy to correct damage in spring. Take picnic tables out of storage and setup in the designated locations.
