The Naval Surface Warfare Schools Command (NSWSC) San Diego, California has a requirement for Water Testing and Treatment Services for their Engineering Training Lab located at Naval Station San Diego, California. The NSWSC utilized Water Cooling Towers to cool fresh water that is used in place of sea water normally used on ships as a cooling medium for shipboard equipment. To utilize the actual equipment installed on ships, NSWSC has installed shipboard equipment in a lab at Bldg., 3533 using fresh water as a cooling medium. This fresh water is prone to bacterial growth due to expose to the outdoor elements that can/will hinder cooling. As such, NSWSC requires monthly water treatment of the fresh cooling water that runs through NSWSC owned water towers cooling the engineering equipment in the Engineering Training Lab to prevent bacterial growth that can/will hinder cooling and may foul water pipes. All questions shall be submitted in writing no later than Friday, 20 September 2024 by 10:00 A.M. (EST), after issuance of Request for Quote (RFQ) to ensure the Government has adequate time to respond. All requests for clarification shall be submitted via email to deaundrae.l.rogers.civ@us.navy.mil. Place of Performance. The work to be provided under this contract shall be performed at Surface Warfare Schools Command, Naval Station San Diego, Bldg. 3533, 3975 Norman Scott, San Diego, CA 92136. Period of Performance. This contract Period of Performance shall be for 12 months to begin 30 days After Receipt of Order (ARO).
