The intent of this Bid request is to obtain an offer to perform work to complete YCPA Office Site Prep Bid Package located at 43 County Road 370, Iuka, MS 38852 for a Stipulated Sum contract, in accordance with Contract Documents. Work of this proposed Contract comprises rough grading, erosion control and rammed aggregate piers for a new office building, including general construction Work. Perform the Work in 90 calendar days. Bidders will be required to provide Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the Base Bid. Refer to other bidding requirements described in Section 00 2113 - Instructions to Bidders and Section 00 3100 - Available Project Information. Submit your offer on the Bid Form provided. Bidders may supplement this form as appropriate, and as allowed by the State of Mississippi Public Bid Laws. Your offer will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 30 (thirty) calendar days after submission. The bid will be awarded to the lowest responsive responsible and best qualified bidder. The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularities, the right to reject one or all bids and the option to postpone action and final decision for a period of up to thirty (30) calendar days. All bids submitted in excess of $50,000 by a prime or subcontractor to do any erection, building, construction, repair, maintenance or related work must comply with the Mississippi Contractors Act of 1985 by securing a Certificate of Responsibility from the State Board of Contractors. The Prime Bidder's Certificate Number must be placed on the outside of the sealed envelope or the bid will not be opened. Subcontractors requiring a Certificate of Responsibility must be listed, including their Certificate of Responsibility Number, on the Sub- Contractor List with the Bid.
