Site work for a transportation facility in Saint Louis, Missouri. Conceptual plans call for site work for a transportation facility.

The St. Louis Airport Authority of the City of St. Louis, Missouri is issuing a public Request for Proposals (RFP) for the redevelopment of the West Carrollton Development Area. This 315 acre (approximate) property formerly was a residential neighborhood, originating back to late 1950’s Postwar America. In the 1990’s and early 2000’s, as part of St. Louis Lambert International Airport’s expansion, the neighborhood was purchased using local and federal funds as a part of a noise abatement program. After the acquisition by the Airport, the structures were razed, and the site has remained vacant since. As of November 26, 2025, per owner, there are no status updates at this time.
