This RFQ calls for quotes covering a variety of maintenance or repair work to District facilities and buildings, including Single Family and Multifamily Dwellings, Out Buildings (e.g., detached garage, barn, storage building), Office Buildings, springs and water lines located in pasture lands and fencing. Specific areas of work are identified in Section 1.E. Pursuant to the On-Call Contract, the District will issue Task Orders identifying the specific scope of work for each project. Question Deadline 10/24/2024 at 3:00 PM PT ***Bid Event: Each respondent is required to submit one (1) hard copy or an electronic version of the Questionnaire (includes General Questions, Services Available and Financial Estimate Worksheet, and References). Submissions must be delivered (with enclosures, if any) to the following address in a sealed envelope marked or via email subject line "On-call General Contractor or Specialty Contractor RFQ": Contractor Expertise and Experience The District seeks General Building Contractors, General Engineering Contractors, Residential Remodeling Contractors or Specialty Contractors with demonstrated expertise and experience in one or more of the following areas of work: 1. (A) General Engineering Contractor - water supply, drainage, pipeline work, excavation, grading, paving, and surfacing work. 2. (B) General Building Contractor - interior / exterior construction and framing work 3. (B-2) Residential Remodeling Contractor - interior construction / design work 4. (C-5) Framing and Rough Carpentry - ranging from the building of small enclosures to dry rot repair to structural construction including such things as decks 5. (C-6) Finish Carpentry- as needed to support projects 6. (C-9) Drywall, Lathing and Plastering - ranging from maintenance such as repairing damaged sections of wall to a project such as new wall construction 7. (C-10) Electrical - ranging from maintenance such as replacing light switches to projects such as installing an electrical panel or re-wiring a house 8. (C-12) Earthwork and Paving - dig, cut, excavate, grade, and backfill the earth's surface, including fabricating and placing paving and other surfacing materials. 9. (C-13) Fencing- livestock barbed-wire strand fencing, 'H' braces and leg braces (C-15) Flooring- ranging from maintenance such as repairing tiles or tears in flooring to projects such as replacing floor joists and installing new flooring 10. (C-16) Fire Protection- fire protection systems 11. (C-17) Glazing - ranging from maintenance such as replacing glass in a window to projects such as replacing all windows/doors in a residence 12. (C-20) Warm Air, Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning- ranging from maintenance such as servicing propane wall heaters to projects such as the installation of a full heating and cooling system 13. (C-22) Asbestos and Hazardous Substance Abatement- as needed per project 14. (C-27) Landscaping- constructs, maintains, installs, or repairs landscape systems and facilities 15. (C-28) Lock and Security Equipment- evaluates, installs, maintains, and repairs, locking devices 16. (C-33) Painting - ranging from minor patch and paint to paint a room or entire house (interior and exterior) 17. (C-34) Pipeline Contractor - as needed to support projects 18. (C-36) Plumbing - ranging from maintenance such as replacing a faucet to a project such as bathroom remodel; spring development, maintenance, or repair; piping and installation of storage tank. 19. (C-39) Roofing - ranging from maintenance such as a-roof patch or repairing the fascia to a project such as a roof replacement 20. (C-54) Ceramic and Mosaic Tile- ranging from maintenance such as repairing broken tiles to projects such as a bathroom remodel 21. (D-16) Hardware, Locks and Safes Contractor- as needed to support projects 22. (D-49) Tree Contractor - as needed to support projects Contractors performing work with hazardous materials must also have all necessary licenses/certifications in addition to any applicable license listed above. Examples of the types of structures and facilities that might require maintenance or repair under this contract include: o Single Family Dwelling o Multifamily Dwelling (1-4 plex) o Out Building - detached garage, barn, storage building, other o Office Buildings and Outpost Facilities - FFO, SFO, AO, SAO, CAO o Springs and water lines located on District Properties o Fences - perimeter fencing and pasture fencing, corrals The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
