The City is looking to purchase building materials for the build-out of the Health Center located at Driggs Elementary School within the City of Waterbury. Deliver to: Driggs Elementary School: 77 Woodlawn Terrace, Waterbury, CT 06710. No loading dock available. Questions will need to be submitted by September 20, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. and Responses will be issued by us via an Addendum no later than September 24, 2024 at 2:00 The Contractor shall not commence work under this Contract until all insurance required has been obtained by the Contractor and such insurance has been approved by the City. The Contractor shall not allow any subcontractor to commence work on any subcontract until all insurance required of any such subcontractor has been so obtained and approved by the City. Insurance shall be provided by insurers, satisfactory to the City and authorized to do business in the State of Connecticut, an "A-" Best's Rating and at least a Class V3 or better financial size category as shown in the most current A.M. Best Company ratings. The City of Waterbury shall receive written notice of cancellation from the Contractor at least thirty (30) calendar days prior to the date of actual cancellation, regardless of the reason for such cancellation. Said certificates shall contain a provision that coverage afforded under the policies shall not be cancelled or reduced for any reasons unless notice of than thirty (30) calendar days has been mailed to the City's Using Agency and a copy to the City's Office of Corporation Counsel, 235 Grand Street, Waterbury, CT 06702. No later than thirty (30) calendar days after receipt by the Contractor, the Contractor shall deliver to the City a copy of the Contractor's insurance policies and endorsements and riders.
