Renovation of a municipal facility in Highland, Illinois. Working plans call for the renovation of a 5,520-square-foot municipal facility.
As of August 18, 2025, Public Works Building Roof Replacement, PW-09-24 is currently on hold with no available timelines. Description of work: The work consists of removing the existing shingles, preparing the surface, replacing damaged sheathing, applying roof underlayment, drip edge, applying new shingles to the main building, and applying new rubberized roof to the flat roof at the rear. The building dimensions are approximately 48' x 115', and approximately 48' x 4'for the front shed roof. The flat roof at the rear of the building is approximately 12' x 20'. The Public Works Building is located at 1113 Broadway, Highland, Illinois 62249. Contractor shall not pay less than the prevailing rates of wages to all laborers, workmen, and mechanics performing work under this contract, and shall comply with the requirements of the Illinois Wages of Employees on Public Works Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12).
