The Winfield Correctional Facility is seeking bids to replace nine hot water boiler systems. The work shall include all labor materials and equipment necessary to complete the project. Bidders shall provide product data and specifications for the intended equipment with their bid. A bid bond is required to be submitted with the bid. Boilers shall be Hydronic hot water. Locations are: A Dorm basement with two (2) 16'9" X 21'6" & Room B Dorm, first floor with two (2) Dimensions C Dorm, first floor with two (2) 11'1" X 11"9" 22'3" X 19'7" Admin building mechanical room with one (1) 23' X 11'8" Gym basement mechanical room with (1) 24'10" X 8'10" Pinecrest basement with one (1) 19'2" X 17'3" Disconnect and remove existing boiler and accessories as needed. o Boiler o Hot water piping as needed o PVC Flue piping as needed o Gas piping as needed o Electrical as needed Provide and install (1) heating hot water high efficient condensing boiler o Approximate size - 1,000,000 btu/hr input, 850,000 btu/hr output o Natural gas fired Reconnect hot water piping. Reconnect gas piping. Reconnect PVC flue piping. Reconnect electrical. Startup and technical checkout of new system Provide warranty for the equipment. Reconnect to existing building management controls. ( Alerton controls ) Repair any wall or building perforations as needed. Clean up Dispose of old equipment and materials as needed. Security Background checks will be required as well as a daily tool check. A written tool list shall be provided to the Agency including phone if they are needed.
