The city is proposing to reconstruct Manton Lane from N.W. Millitary to Lockhill Selma Road including a new culvert along Manton Lane just southwest of Lockhill Selma Road and reconstruct Carolwood Drive from Banyan Drive to Lockhill Selma Road with storm drain improvements along Carolwood Drive from Banyan Drive to a City of San Antonio property northeast of the Carolwood Drive and Lockhill Selma Road intersection. The storm drain improvements will tie into an existing system that ends at the intersection of Carolwood Drive and Banyan Drive. San Antonio Water System water and sewer improvements will be included with the project. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid price. Any bid received after closing time will be rejected and returned unopened. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a one hundred percent (100%) Performance Bond and a one hundred percent (100%) Payment Bond. The City of Castle Hills reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to award the bid to the lowest responsible bidder or to the bidder who provides the best value to the City, and to waive any informality or technicality in the bid.
