The intent of this request for qualifications (RFQ) is to establish an engineering services contract with a respondent to conduct an Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) evaluation and update the ADA Transition Plan for the City of Arlington. This will include building a framework for all future evaluations and updates including prioritization and implementation strategies for City programs, facilities, services, and activities. Furthermore, the consultant will develop a comprehensive Sidewalk Master Plan by assessing sidewalks, ramps, and signalized intersections within the City right-of-way for ADA compliance, creating a condition inventory with a detailed list of physical obstacles to accessibility. This plan will be used to develop future Sidewalk Capital Improvement Program projects. The City of Arlington strongly encourages bidders to submit their response to this bid electronically. If submitting a paper bid, it must be submitted in a sealed envelope or package and labeled with the company name, solicitation number and title. Late bids will not be accepted.
