Site work for a water / sewer project in Hondo, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The scope of work includes the refurbishment of the Downtown 500,000-gallon Welded-Steel Ground Storage Tank. Work also includes retrofit of existing roof with geodesic dome roof, miscellaneous welding and spot repair, miscellaneous tank appurtenance upgrades, and blasting / recoating of entire refurbishment. Estimate: $1.3M Question Deadline 10/11/2024 Please submit questions for this project 72 hours prior to bid opening through All questions regarding this project shall be directed toward the Engineer via email. Questions will be answered via addenda, which will be transmitted to all other Bidders. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Liquidated Damages = $1,000 per day; Construction Days = 180 The City of Hondo, Medina County, Texas, reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to waive any informalities, or to make an award to other than the low bidder. It further reserves the right to limit the amount of the award. Attention of the bidders is particularly directed to the requirements of the conditions of employment to be observed and minimum Wage Rates to be paid under the Contract. The City of Hondo does not discriminate on the basis of handicapped status in admission or access to, or treatment or employment in, its programs and activities.
