Site work for a transportation facility in Gardner, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility.
This bid includes the following Work: Remove and replace approximately 9,500 track feet of relay rail with two (2) turnouts and install approximately 800 track feet of new rail with two (2) turnouts, all meeting FRA Class 1 specifications and applicable AREMA standards, including all materials, labor, equipment, supervision, and any and all other items necessary to complete the Work. Bidders shall submit the following with their bid: Bid Bond: Bidders shall submit with their bid a bid bond issued by a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Kansas in the amount of five percent (5.0%) of the total amount of their bid. Said guarantee shall be made payable to the Board of County Commissioners of Johnson County, Kansas. Qualifications: refer to Section 20-02 of the Project Manual for specified documentation No bid may be withdrawn within a period of sixty (60) days from the date of the bid opening. Technical questions and requests for clarification shall be submitted via Online no later than 5:00PM CT on October 3, 2024, to allow adequate time to issue an addendum, if needed.
