Reference Number 0000363546 Job Location: Town of Lyons The Town of Lyons applied for and received CDOT funding to design and construct a trail that is approximately 3/4 of a mile within Town Right of Way. The purpose of this multimodal trail is to support safety for pedestrians, bicyclists, golf carts and any other modes of transportation other than roadway vehicles. The St Vrain Trail Extension project will complete full trail connectivity from the west end of Lyons to the east end of Lyons. This work consists of constructing a 10' wide trail running generally East-West from McConnell Drive and US36 intersection to the US36 and SH66 junction. The West portion of the trail will be concrete, and the East half of the trail will be crusher fines. The trail includes three ditch crossings that will include one pedestrian bridge and two concrete box culverts crossings. Multiple types of fencing along half of the trail will be constructed.
