Renovation of a municipal facility in Greenville, Georgia. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Meriwether County, Georgia is seeking proposals from qualified engineering firms to develop plans and specifications, prepare bids, evaluate bids, and oversee repairs to the Meriwether County Historical Courthouse. This is a priority project for Meriwether County and our desire is to move forward with project as soon as practical. Scope of Work 1. This proposal will require the successful firm to evaluate the Courthouse Roof, HVAC System, mold and/or water damage to the interior of the building, and flooding in the basement that occurs during heavy rain events. 2. After the evaluations are complete, the firm shall develop plans and specifications for correction of these issues, prepare bid documents, evaluate the bids once received, make recommendations for award of bid to the Meriwether County Board of Commissioners, and once awarded, oversee the approved repairs. The proposals will be evaluated not only on cost, but experience in similar type projects, timeline for work, experience of the proposed project manager, and other factors of importance to Meriwether County.
