The final date questions are due to the A/E (if you wish to guarantee answer in final Addendum) is: Friday October 18, 2024, at 12:00 Noon. The anticipated project cost is $460,000. A Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond are required as defined in the Contract Documents. Prevailing wage rates for Franklin County as determined by the State of Ohio, Department of Commerce, Division of Labor and Safety will be applicable to this Work. 1. The amount of the Certified Check, Cashierís Check or Letter of Credit shall be equal to ten percent (10%) of the base bid plus add alternates. The following is a general description of the Work involved in this Project and is not intended to comprise a complete description of all work required. 1. Demolition: a. Remove (2) existing diesel generators, including exhaust, fuel, and water piping. b. Remove (2) existing substation secondary low-voltage distribution sections. c. Remove existing abandoned cooling tower and foundations. d. Remove (2) existing 500-gallon underground fuel storage tanks, piping, fuel pumps, and fuel level gauges. e. Remove (2) existing surge protection devices. 2. New Work: a. Install new diesel emergency generator with sub-base fuel tank furnished by Owner. b. Install new substation secondary low-voltage distribution sections furnished by Owner. c. Install new distribution panels and associated surge protection devices furnished by Owner. d. Install new transfer switches furnished by Owner. e. Provide diesel fuel in sub-base fuel tank. f. Provide new generator reinforced concrete pad. g. Provide lighting fixture. h. Provide wiring devices. i. Provide all wiring and conduit. B. The entire project is required to be completed to accommodate Owner-occupied areas and ongoing operations.
