Reference Number 0000363585 The City of Albany (hereinafter referred to as the "CITY") hereby requests proposals from qualified engineering firms to provide professional engineering services related to resurfacing Central Avenue from North Allen Street to the city line in the City of Albany. Minority Business Enterprises and Women's Business Enterprises are encouraged to submit proposals. Central Avenue is classified as a principal arterial and provides access to a large commercial district in the City of Albany. The prime goal of the Central Avenue Resurfacing Project is to correct the current roadway pavement deficiencies that exist throughout the project corridor. This section of Central Avenue was last reconstructed in 2009 and as a result the majority of the sidewalk, curbing and ADA ramps are in good condition.
