Demolition, site work and addition to a civil project in Alvin, Texas. Completed plans call for the addition of a water / sewer project; for the demolition of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work in this package only includes turnkey electrical construction for the City of Alvin WWTP Expansion Project. Bidders are called attention to review in detail the following documents: - Advertisement & Instruction to Bidders - Bid Form & Scope - Bid Form Signature Page Any questions regarding this bid shall be emailed to CSA Construction as the contact person listed below. 1. Demolition of existing structures and associated mechanical and electrical components as follows and as indicated on the Contract Drawings: a. Existing coarse screen b. Existing lift station c. Existing generator pad d. Existing thickener structure e. Existing non-potable water (NPW) skid system f. Existing storage building g. Existing grit system and equipment h. Existing chemical feed equipment and storage area All addenda will be issued on CivCast and all inquiries or requests regarding this bid are to be submitted to George Craig, gcraig@csaconstruction.com Question Deadline 10/09/2024 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contact Documents must be submitted on CivCast at least five (5) days prior to the Bid due date This package is for the electrical construction of the Alvin WWTP Expansion as per the following: 1. Included, but not limited to: a. All supervision labor, material, equipment, demolition permits, insurance, start-up, testing and clean-up to furnish and install complete electrical system as per Contact Documents. b. Grounding & Bonding & Lightning Protection. c. Switchboards, panelboards, motor control centers, VFD's and lighting. d. Submittals, Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Manuals and Test Reports. i. Submittals shall be electronic (PDF) files ii. Preliminary O&M Manuals shall be electronic (PDF) files iii. Final O&M Manuals shall be Three (3) bound hard copies and one (1) PDF e. Mobilization and Demobilization. f. Temporary facilities as necessary. Subcontractor, at their cost and option, shall be permitted to provide one (1) office trailer and temporary storage units. The quantity of storage units shall be mutually agreed between Construction Manager and Subcontractor prior to delivery to the site. g. Temporary power hook-up for three CMAR temporary office trailers. It is expected that a power source is to be within 300 feet from the location of these trailers. h. Installation of Construction Manager Vendor provided Control Panels and Instrumentation. i. Furnish and install all conduit, ductbank, cable tray, wire, cable, including terminations for the Construction Manager provided process equipment and the generators and ATS. j. Start-up, Testing and Commissiong and training for all electrical work. k. Assist Construction Manager with coordination of Center Point Energy and AT&T work. l. Assist Construction Manager in Start-Up and Commissiong of the WWTP, including assistance in start-up and commissioning of Generators, Instrumentation and Controls and Data Flow Systems. m. Installation of ATS-N n. Fire Alarm Systems o. Warranty i. Bidder shall include all manufacturer specific warranties, including required warranty duration, as required per each of the applicable specifications in their base bid. ii. Bidder shall include a one (1) year warranty in their base bid as required by specification 01 78 36 - 1.01 & 1.02. iii. Bidder shall include an additive cost as shown on the bid form to extend their warranty period by an additional one (1) year for a total of a two-year warranty a per specification 01 78 36 - 1.01 & 1.02.
