Intent of this Bid call is to obtain an offer to perform Work to complete the Souris Liquor Store Exterior, located at 189 Main Street, Souris, PEI for Stipulated Price contract, Contractor to provide all plant, labour and materials to renovate the exterior appearance of the PEILCC Store located at 189 Main Street, Souris, Prince Edward Island (Project 5885). Work is to include but not limited to the following: .1 Partial Demolition to suit new construction and remediation of demolished items to like new condition .2 Rough Carpentry .3 Exterior Cladding (Wood and Metal Paneling) .4 Roof Repair & Flashings .5 Miscellaneous Metal Work .6 Exterior Signage .7 Electrical Connections of new lighting and new lighting Perform Work to substantial completion by December 19, 2024 Initiate Work no sooner than 1 week of receipt of notice of contract award Contractor to provide a construction schedule, safety policy and proof of insurance prior to starting work. Bids are to be accompanied by security deposit as follows: Bid Bond in an amount not less than 10 percent of Bid price; or certified cheque in amount of 10% of Bid Price. Submit with Bid Form and Bid Bond, Consent of Surety, stating that surety providing Bid Bond is willing to supply Performance Bond in the amount of 50% of Contract Value and Labour and Materials Payment Bond in the amount of 50% of Contract Value specified.
