The project is referred to as Creston Southeast, C-71(652) and shall include all labor, materials, transportation and equipment required for the construction of a twin 12 x 12 x 55 concrete box culvert on a 0 skew and other incidental work. The project is located on 175 Avenue between 385 Street and 400 Street in Platte County, Nebraska. Along with its Bid Proposal, each bidder shall submit an unconditional Bid Bond or Certified Check payable to the County Treasurer of Platte County, Nebraska, in an amount equal to five (5) percent of the Bid Proposal. Also, each bidder is to provide a Start of Construction date and End of Construction date for each project with its Bid Proposal. The desired completion date is June 1, 2025. The Contractor will be allowed eighty (80) calendar days. The completion date will be the earlier of the date indicated in the bid proposal or the actual start date plus the allotted calendar days. Additional days due to weather may be granted at the discretion of the engineer. Within ten (10) days following the award of the Contract, the successful bidder shall furnish a surety bond or bonds in an amount equal to or greater than the full amount of the contract.
