The Project includes the following Work: Rehabilitation and improvement of a 100,000-gallon elevated tank. Including cleaning and repainting of interior and exterior, and minor repairs and improvements. Bids are requested for the following Contract: Elevated Tank Rehabilitation Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website. Failure to submit a complete set of documents could result in a bid that is determined to be nonresponsive and rejected by the Owner The bid guaranty may be of two forms: 1. A Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond using the form in the Contract Documents. (The amount of the bid does NOT have to appear on this form.) 2. A certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit in favor of The Village of Liberty Center in the amount of 10% of the bid. If the contract is awarded, a Contract Bond will be required, which is a 100% payment and performance bond. After the award of the contract let by competitive bid and prior to the time the contract is entered into, bidders shall submit the affidavit required under the Ohio Revised Code, Section 5719.042 that the bidder was not charged with any delinquent personal property taxes in Henry County, Ohio. The Village of Liberty Center reserves the right pursuant to ORC.9.312 to reject any and all bids and to waive any non-material irregularity in determining the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of 60 days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids. The successful bidder will be required to pay federally-determined Davis-Bacon Wage Rates. The Engineer's estimate of probable cost for this project is $560,000.00
