Site work for a water / sewer project in Stirling, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Scope includes the removal and replacement of a catch basin in the southwest corner of the theatre parking lot and a new 8" diameter storm sewer inside the theatre. The new 8" DR28 PVC storm sewer shall be installed along the proposed alignment from the new catch basin to the existing sump inside the theatre basement. The existing PVC/clay tile storm drain is to be abandoned and filled with grout where it isn't removed by conflict with the new 8" sewer alignment. 2 sets of concrete stairs are required to be removed with one set being reinstated as concrete and the other with new galvanized steel stairs with attached handrail. The new catch basin shall be installed with a surface inlet elevation 6" lower than existing to assist in ensuring runoff does not flow into theatre doors. The new 8" storm sewer is to follow an alignment south from the new catch basin perpendicular into the theatre addition through the foundation wall and sweep underneath the concrete stairs from the garage to the basement. These concrete stairs shall be reinstated to existing conditions. It will follow the alignment through the basement doorway, along the existing hall and doorway to the existing building sump and shall have a minimum 1% drainage slope at all times. Concrete floor will have to be cut and removed to install the new 8" storm sewer and a minimum of 4" thick of concrete floor shall be reinstated flush with the existing floor. One pipe cleanout shall be installed along the pipe alignment close to the basement entrance stairs in the floor with a steel plate at grade floor cover. The concrete stairs inside the building cistern are to be removed and replaced with new galvanized steel stairs with a handrail on the south side All existing building conditions shall be reinstated such as the concrete floor, concrete stairs, cold patch asphalt around catch basin inlet other than the concrete stairs inside the cistern which are to be replaced with galvanized steel steps.
