Description of Goods or Services to Be Bid: The Work of this Contract includes cleaning, repair and painting of the elevated structures Portal to Kings Highway on the Culver Line in the Borough of Brooklyn. The scope of the Work is summarized as follows: Repair and replacement of structural steel members. Abrasive blasting and painting of the elevated structure including furnishing, installing, and removing temporary suspended decking and containment systems. Miscellaneous concrete repair. Replacement of bearings and repair of concrete piers. All associated environmental work, including asbestos abatement. Maintenance and protection of traffic on street level. Maintenance and protection of power equipment, signal equipment, communications equipment, tracks and switches, and drainpipes. Exterior painting of wayside buildings located on the elevated structure and repairs of exterior components and fenestrations. Installation of Bird Deterrent Systems.
