This will serve as their new Northwest Terminal Facility, taking the place of their current Park Avenue Facility. All improvements will meet current code requirements (including current Americans with Disabilities Act regulations) as well as LEED Gold, per Executive Order 123. B. Project Goals 1. Effectively communicate with stakeholders, and the community to ensure they are receivingrelevant information. a. Regularly scheduled meetings OR emails to share information. b. Help design team implement a Community Engagement Plan. c. Help provide opportunities for public input, occupants, and City Council feedback. 2. Use of best practices in planning, design, and construction to create a modern facility that meetsoperational and community needs. a. Work with the design team to create a flexible and efficient building. b. Evaluate and implement standards used across Denver Parks and Recreation facilities. 3. Deliver the project on time and on budget. a. Minimize modifications to the project charter to preclude cost escalation andschedule delays. b. Regular monitoring of the project budget and timeline. c. Help the teams design systems and materials that are economical to operate andmaintain CCD facilities. 4. LEED a. At a minimum, meet LEED Gold requirements. b. Work with the design teams to achieve designs that consider passive sustainablebuilt environment solutions.
