Saving Project...

Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 3,600-seat educational facility; and 90-seat day care center.

Construction of a new joint-use high schools for Saskatoon Public School Division No. 13 (SPSD), and Greater Saskatoon Catholic School Divisions No. 20 (GSCS). The facility is a Grade 9 to Grade 12 multi-story joint use school that will accommodate up to a maximum student enrollment of 3600, supporting Public and Catholic school needs with 1800 students each. A 90-seat childcare center will be co-located on-site with the new facility, and will be located in the Holmwood Suburban Centre in the City of Saskatoon. This neighborhood is east of McCormond Drive and currently undeveloped, with phasing plans anticipating full build out of the area complete by 2030. The site is anticipated to be shared with a community civic center; whether the civic center is a standalone building or integrated into the facility is yet to be determined. TIMELINE: Project is in early planning stages. The owner is currently seeking proposals for Project Management Services. The Successful Proponent will be responsible for assisting, supporting, and leading the successful build of the new joint-use high schools. Further project details and schedules may be confirmed by late 2024, pending award of contract. *Budget is unreleased.
