LPRCA is soliciting proposals, though this Request for Proposal (RFP), to design, fabricate and install a new and permanent public safety boom upstream of the Norwich Dam in the town of Norwich, Ontario, in accordance with the Technical Bulletins and Best Management Practices by the Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR). The Norwich Dam is located at 34 1/2 North Court St W, Norwich, Ontario. The Norwich reservoir is a man-made reservoir created by the construction of the dam. The 31-meter-long dam was completed in the late 1960's to provide recreation and low flow augmentation. The reservoir covers approximately 13.7 hectares.
