The proposed work for Project A, designed by LePage Engineering generally includes the following: Grading and Embankment, a Concrete Bike Lane, Street Lighting, Sidewalks, Asphaltic Pavement Widening, Aggregate Base, Curb and Gutter, Curbing, Storm Sewers, Box Culvert Extension, Driveways, Pavement Markings, and Signage. The project is located along the north side of Main Street, extending from west of Hackberry Street to Gunstock Drive and is approximately 1,552 feet in length. The proposed work for Project B, designed by Own Engineering generally includes the following: Construction of 5' wide concrete sidewalk and 4' wide concrete bike lane, access connections, culverts, and any incidental work related thereto, including street improvements within the project area in accordance with the plans and specifications. The project is generally located along the north side of Main Street between Illinois Street and Hackberry Street and between Gunstock Drive Walnut Drive. The length of the improvements is approximately 1,100 feet of sidewalk and 2,300 feet of bike lane. Each bidder shall file with his bid a bidder's bond in the amount of 5 percent of the contract price as indicated per the contract documents. The bidder to whom a contract is awarded will be required to furnish a performance bond and a payment bond on the forms provided, payable to the City of Warsaw, and in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price in conformity with the requirements of the General Conditions.
