Upgrade Mechanical & Controls Systems In Pine Bush Bldg. Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 15% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 15% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 6% Contract term: Approx 1 year for design Location: UAlbany Uptown Campus NYS Minority and woman owned businesses as well as Service Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses (SDVOB) are encouraged to respond. The University at Albany is currently seeking an Engineering consultant for a project to upgrade the HVAC and controls system in the Pine Bush Building (building 30) to address infrastructure renewal, energy efficiency, and getting the building ready for eventual migration to low temperature (<160F) hot water system. The scope of the project includes replacement/upgrades to existing Air Handling Units, exhaust fans, dual duct constant air mixing boxes, constant air volume fume hoods, distribution ductwork, and BMS controls. Scope also includes energy measures such as, demand-based controls, variable volume systems, removal of all standalone heating and cooling systems and connection to central plant, and energy efficient sequence of operations. The building will remain occupied during project implementation.
