Bidders eligible to submit Bids for this Request for Tenders have been previously selected through the process of a Request for Prequalifications, issued under Contract C14-01-23 which closed on June 12, 2023. Category 1: Heritage General Contractors. Undertake the Work of this Project at the Ancaster Old Town Hall to undertake the repairs, replacements, and restoration of all the exterior wood components of the Original Main Building and limited attic interior work within the following areas: - The Front Portico Repairs and Restoration with Column Replacements, - The Roof Edge Repairs and Restoration on both the north and south sides of the building including masonry wall repairs and structural roof framing repairs, as required, - The Gable End Repairs and Restoration on both the west and east ends of the building, and - The Cupola Repairs and Restoration including structural repairs and replacement of existing framing members as required.
