Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Okotoks, Alberta. Completed plans call for the construction of a 10,870-square-foot, one-story above grade municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
The Work involves the construction of a new equipment facility at the Landfill and Resource Recovery Centre. The scope of Work under this project includes the design and construction of a new Equipment Storage Facility located at the Foothills Landfill and Resource Recovery Centre. The method of project delivery will be Design-Build. Work shall include, but is not limited to the following: .1 The proposed facility is divided into two distinct physical areas based upon the occupancy classification: .1 Vehicle and equipment bays .2 Operational Support and living areas .2 The Design-Builder shall provide a code compliant design aligning with Architectural, Building Mechanical, Structural, Electrical, and Civil requirements. .3 The Design-Builder shall accommodate a 15 m setback from the property line to the construction.
