Location of Work: 100 Dick Huff Lane Verona, Virginia 24482 09/25/2024 Deadline to submit questions and requests for clarification on the RFP by 5:00 PM (EST) All inquiries for information should be in writing and directed to: Lacy Stajduhar, Purchasing Assistant at lstajduhar@co.augusta.va.us. 10/02/24 Answers to submitted questions provided via addenda In compliance with this Request for Proposals and to all the Conditions imposed therein and hereby incorporated by reference, the undersigned offers agrees to furnish the goods/services in accordance with the attached signed proposal or as mutually agreed upon by subsequent negotiation. Furniture Consulting Services are needed for an approximately 123,373 SF new courthouse that will include two General District courtrooms, three J&DR courtrooms, three Circuit Courtrooms, conference rooms, jury deliberation rooms, judge offices, clerk offices, commonwealth attorney offices, security offices/stations, record rooms, detention areas, and other support spaces. It is the intention of the County to contract with a vendor for the purpose of assisting with final selection, purchase and installation of furniture for Augusta County's new state of the art courthouse. Interior design is being completed by the architect of record. Qualified firms are invited and encouraged to submit competitive, sealed proposals to the County for consieration. 0/16/2024 Notice of Intent to Award 10/23/2024 Board Review The furniture consulting services team will be expected to be capable of fulfilling, at a minimum, the following: a. Coordinate the selection of furniture that can be purchased from approved purchasing contract agreements, while meeting the design intent of the Architect of Record. b. Coordinate the purchasing and installation of all products required to furnish the spaces within the new building. c. Provide project administration, supervision and ongoing support services needed for initial purchase and any future orders or upgrades. d. Coordinate with the County's Owner Representative and Project Manager as required. e. Maintain complete documentation of purchase orders and purchased inventory for use when future orders or upgrades are undertaken. f. Provide samples of requested furniture. The contract term shall commence upon approval by the County and continue until project completion. At this time, it is believed that a formal pre-proposal conference will not be scheduled. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
