Renovation of a medical facility in Elliot Lake, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a hospital.
This contract is for the Pharmacy Oncology Expansion Project at St. Joseph's General Hospital in Elliot Lake, Ontario. The scope includes major renovations of approximately 1,390 sq.ft. at Level 0 of the Elliot Lake St. Joseph's General Hospital and 700 sq.ft. at the Basement Level. The existing pharmacy and new oncology compounding clean rooms will be renovated within a former classroom & storage room. The scope also includes renovating an existing mechanical & janitor room into a larger mechanical space to accommodate the new indoor air handling units for the relocated pharmacy. There will be new rooftop equipment as part of this project as well. This final execution/construction of this project MUST be inspected and approved by the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP), by Owner and through independent third-party testing to meet The National Association of Pharmacy Regulatory Authorities (NAPRA) standards. The NAPRA testing will form part of the cash allowances. It is imperative that NAPRA certification be achieved by way of construction adherence to the drawings, specifications and engineering documentation. Questions received less than ninety-six (96) hours before the bid closing cannot be answered.
