sealed bids to recycle existing concrete and asphalt stockpiles at the village storage yard as specified in detailed Village of Marathon City 2024 Concrete and Asphalt Recycling Bid packet located at the village municipal building. In general, the project consists of crushing the existing piles of mixed concrete, asphalt and fill dirt into sizes from three quarters of an inch to one inch range. The crushed material shall be staked and left onsite. The contractor shall be paid by price per cubic yard crushed and stacked. The piles are assumed to contain between 13,000 to 15,000 cubic yards of recyclable material. -Marathon City is seeking bids from qualified Contractors to recycle existing concrete and asphalt stockpiles The Village of Marathon City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to award a contract or contracts in the best interest of the village. A . The piles are located at the Village Streets Department located at 104 Chestnut Street in Marathon City. The main pile of the concrete and asphalt material is in the Village Storage Yard along East Street and behind the Village Streets Department garage and north of the Marathon High School Football field. B. The Contractor shall provide mobilization, the crusher, labor, fuel and all equipment necessary to provide a complete crushing operation. C. The concrete and asphalt piles contain pieces of metal pipe and rebar. The Village will provide a dumpster for any scrap metal. D. The Contractor shall have all piles crushed, stacked and the site cleaned up within sixty (60) days after mobilizing to the site
