Build a Bike Pedestrian Bridge over the Railroad Tracks at 25th Street between Montana and Minnesota Avenues. The bridge will connect to the bike lane to the south of the railroad tracks and this will provide a safe bike and pedestrian alternative to the at-grade crossing of the railroad at 27th as well as provide an emergency connection between the north and south sides of the tracks for police bike patrol or foot patrol in the event of a train blocking the tracks. This project is included in the city’s fy 2025-2029 Capital Improvement Program. As of October 25, 2024, further details regarding construction and completion timelines have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
