Completed plans call for the demolition of a multi-residential development; for site work for a multi-residential development; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

qualified firms or individuals for the removal of the structure. The objective of this project is to remove the remnants of a single-family home that was abandoned. The project is being funded under the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program through the Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA). Scope of Work. The 2,280 square foot single-family, two-story frame residential structure constructed on a brick basement foundation in 1880, located at 601 E 6th St, has been deemed dilapidated. The City of Muscatine desires to remove the abandoned structure along with the 2 sets of front steps, rear steps, all metal railing, all of the concrete walking on the property as well as the sidewalk along Orange and E 6th St, paths, steps, slab, and chunks, all bushes and stumps or trees, and any other remaining debris on the property in preparation of construction of a permanent supportive housing structure. Statement of Qualifications. At minimum proposals should include the following information: Description of Experience with IEDA s programs. Description of similar projects the firm has successfully completed. Description of organizational capacity to complete all necessary activities. Description of the anticipated timeframe necessary to complete the activities. References from previous clients of related work within the past five years. Firm is not on HUD s or DOL s debarred or suspended list. Please indicate if the firm is a MCB/WBE. Experience with other applicable federal and state regulations. Qualifications necessary to complete project:30 points Previous work performance: 30 points Capacity to complete scope of work: 30 points Experience with the state programs & related Federal requirements: 10 points Total: 100 Points Final contracts are contingent upon receipt of CDBG funding.
