The State University Construction Fund (SUCF) is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from consultants to provide design and construction administration services for the Replace Windows Various Buildings for Energy Conservation project at the State University of New York, College of Agriculture and Technology, Morrisville State College. The Infirmary (#0009), constructed in 1971, is an 8,185 GSF, one-story building that houses the campus health center. The windows are original, single pane and in poor condition. Windows are casement type with fixed and operable panes. Operable windows are hinged. Frames are dark bronze aluminum. Brooks Hall (#0010), constructed in 1925, is a 17,195 GSF, three-story building with a basement that houses the campus police department, Human Resources and Communications. The windows were last replaced in 1995 and are in poor condition. Marshall Hall (#0030), constructed in 1967, is a 27,176 GSF, one-story building that houses instructional spaces for Agriculture, Animal Science, Engineering, and Chemistry. The windows are original, 57 years old, and in poor condition. Galbreath Hall (#0047), constructed in 1964 is a 60,425 GSF two-story building that houses Mechanical, Electrical engineering, Math, Vehicle Technology, and some Administration. Approximately 25% of windows were recently replaced under another Fund project. The original windows that remain are 60 years old and in poor condition. This project replaces the remaining windows. The Project will replace all windows and repair exterior and interior walls impacted by the window replacement. Many windows have a convector under the window which is mostly below the sill. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
