Each Bid Must Be Submitted in Duplicate on Forms Furnished by the Architect and Must Be Accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond in an Amount Not Less Than 5% of the Base Bid; the Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Furnish and Pay for a Satisfactory Performance Bond and a Payment Bond in the Amount of 100% of the Contract. The Work Will Be Bid in One Prime Contract: all Bid Envelopes Shall Contain, on the Exterior Side, the Contractor's Certificate of Responsibility Number. No Exceptions All Bids Shall Be Written on the Form Provided and Shall Be Sealed in an Envelope. All Other Methods of Bidding, Except Telegraphic Modifications, Will Be Considered Non-responsive. No Modifications on Exterior of Envelope Without Proper Signature. No Exceptions Attention is Called to the Provisions for Equal Employment Opportunity, and Payment of Not Less Than the Minimum Salaries and Wages as Set Forth in the Specifications Must Be Paid on This Project. No Bidder May Withdraw His Bid Within 45 Days After the Date Set for the Opening Thereof, and Each Bidder Must Comply With the Laws of the State of Mississippi and All Local Laws Relative to the Performance of Said Work. The Pontotoc Housing Authority Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids or to Waive Any Informalities in the Bidding. Specifications and Drawings Can Be Viewed in the Office of Rjz Architecture, Pa, Architecture Engineering; 91 Sunset Drive, Suite C, Grenada, Mississippi 38901. Visit site prior to bid. Devise a plan for installation of complete and operable electrical systems meeting the requirements and intent of the Contract Documents. Submission of Bid stands as evidence that the Contractor accepts the Contract Documents as sufficient and complete for the work to be performed. Notify the engineer at least two weeks prior to bid of any discrepancies between the Contract Documents and actual field conditions. No change orders will be granted due to existing conditions that could have been observed during a site visit. Work shall be started within ten (10) days upon receipt ofawrittenNotice to Proceed, and the entire project shall be completed as stipulated in accordance with the terms and provisions ofthe Contract Documents. Starting one month after a signed Contract, the Contractor shall submit a Monthly Progress Schedule showing percentages of completion ofvarious portions ofthe project along with their respective dollar values. The Contractor shall begin work within ten (10) days after receipt ofthe written Notice to Proceed from the Owner or Architect. The Contractor shall not commence any work prior to the Preconstruction Conference receiving the Notice to Proceed, especially earthwork operations. All work performed by the Contractor prior to the Preconstruction Conference and prior to the written Notice to Proceed is Entirely at the Contractor's risk.
