Questions Due Date: Oct 3rd 2024, 10:00 AM EDT Online Portal Contact Information: Peter Hager, peter.hager@covingtonky.gov West Covington Riverfront Commons Project The City of Covington, Kentucky ("City") Department of Public Works ("PW") invites Statements Of Qualifications ("SOQ") from competent, experienced, knowledgeable, professional, and qualified providers ("Provider") for the delivery of goods and performance of services described in this Request for Qualifications ("RFSQ"), and in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. Respondents shall be prepared to enter into a Contractual Agreement ("Agreement") to perform described services. Evaluation of SOQs (Estimated) 2024 Nov 15 The City serves approximately 41,000 residents and the current annual operating budget is approximately $154 million. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. Any information provided by the City regarding this RFSQ is not official unless reduced to writing by the City's Procurement Officer, or specifically designated alternate representative to whom authority has been properly delegated. Any unauthorized contact with any other City official, employee, agent and/or contractor regarding this (RFSQ) is prohibited and may disqualify Respondent's SOQ submittal for the City's consideration. The City commits to responding to properly and timely received inquiries and does not warrant responses to any others. The City reserves the rights to reject and all SOQs, to waive any informalities thereof, to negotiate for the modification(s) of any timely received SOQ, and shall at all times retain the sole authority, in the judgment of the proper officials, to assess and determine which, if any SOQ(s) is/are the most potentially advantageous, beneficial and/or desirable to the City. No SOQ may be withdrawn from the City's consideration for a period of sixty (60) days after scheduled time of receipt. Minority-owned and Women-owned Business Enterprises (MBE/WBE) are encouraged to respond to this RFSQ. In the event that any response to this RFSQ ultimately results in an contractual award for the performance of services herein described and are not performed in an acceptable manner to the City, the City may cancel this contract for cause by the City's provision of prior express notice to the Respondent at least thirty (30) days in advance of cancellation stipulating the reasons for same. During that time period, the Respondent may seek to bring the performance of services hereunder to a level that is acceptable to the City, and the City may rescind the cancellation if such action is determined in the judgment of the proper officials to be in the City's best interests.
