Description: Design and fabrication of the IR 10 refrigeration plant in support of the EIC program at Brookhaven National Laboratory. Includes options for the IR 06 and IR 02 refrigeration plants. Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility (TJNAF) invites you to participate in the attached Request for Proposal (RFP) for the design and fabrication of the IR 10 satellite refrigeration plant in support of the Electron-Ion Collider (EIC) program for Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL). All documents listed on the RFP form PD 6 are contained within this email. A pre-solicitation conference will be held with all interested suppliers within two weeks of the RFP being issued. Attendance for this conference will be mandatory and held remotely by a virtual method. Attendance for this meeting is required in order for a supplier's RFP submittal to be considered for award. Note: Item 4 on the PD 6 Form is marked Not Required only due to the Site Visit Attendance requirement. It is TJNAF's intent to award a subcontract for the IR 10 refrigeration plant by May 7th, 2025. Note: Please ensure to also complete the option bid schedules for the IR 06 satellite refrigeration plant which is tentatively scheduled to be awarded sometime during fiscal year 2025 and the IR 02 satellite refrigeration plant which is tentatively scheduled to be awarded during late fiscal year 2025/early fiscal year 2026.
