The ROSELAND DRIVE STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENTS shall include: Approximately 6,400 LF of Storm Sewer Approximately 4,300 LF of Water Main Approximately 12,400 SY of PCC Reconstruction Approximately 6,500 SY of Driveways and Sidewalks Related items including removals, restoration, traffic control, erosion control, and survey. Roseland Drive Storm Sewer Improvements: Storm Sewer, Pavement Reconstruction, and Water Main on Roseland Drive From Ashwood Drive to 72nd Street and on Palm Drive From Roseland Drive to 72nd Street Contractor shall fully complete the project by September 24, 2027. Each bidder shall accompany its bid with bid security as security that the successful bidder will enter into a contract for the work bid upon and will furnish after the award of contract a corporate surety bond, in a form acceptable to the City, for the faithful performance of the contract, in an amount equal to one hundred percent of the amount of the contract. The bid security must be in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount including all add alternates (do not deduct the amount of deduct alternates). Bid security shall be in the form of a cashiers check or a certified check drawn on an FDIC insured bank chartered under the laws of the state of Iowa or on an FDIC insured bank chartered under the laws of the United States; or a certified share draft drawn on a credit union in Iowa or chartered under the laws of the United States; or a bid bond on the form provided in the contract documents with corporate surety satisfactory to the City. The bid security shall contain no additional conditions either in the body or as an endorsement thereon, except as provided by law. The successful bidder will be required to furnish Performance Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, said bond to be issued by a responsible surety and shall guarantee the faithful performance of the contract and the terms and conditions therein contained and shall guarantee the prompt payment for all materials and labor and protect and save harmless the City, from claims and damages of any kind caused by the operation of the Contractor. Work on the improvement shall be commenced immediately upon approval of the contract by the Council, and be completed as stated below. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available. The City of Urbandale reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
