Construction related projects and deliverables that will be performed by Contractor in accordance with this RFP/RFQ. Iowa State University of Science and Technology (ISU) is soliciting information from qualified contractors to remove and replace the steel roofs of two buildings located at the Agronomy Field Center, in Boone, IA. Contractors should read all materials carefully and note the due date. Contractors must submit all questions in the "Questions" tab related to this bid opportunity. SU is soliciting proposalsfrom qualified Contractors to remove and replace the steel roofs of two buildingslocated at the Agronomy Field Center. a) Summary of Work i) Teaching Lab - 40 ft x 80 ft building (1) Remove and replace the steel roof. (a) Replacement roof materials to match existing (size, thickness, etc.). (b) Replacement roof to be white. (c) Replacement roof to be installed with a condensation control membrane. (d) Replacement includes any required venting or penetrations. (e) The roof of this building is comprised of two different elevations. (2) Remove and replace the gutters and downspouts. (a) Replacement gutter system to be adequately sized for the building. (b) One downspout will be relocated prior to installation. Contractor to confirm location before installation. ii) Barn - 32 ft x 64 ft building (1) Remove and replace the steel roof. (a) Replacement roof materials to match existing (size, thickness, etc.). (b) Replacement roof to be white. (c) Replacement includes any required venting or penetrations
